The Working Principle Of Rolling Bearings

The working principle of Longchangjie rolling bearings is to replace sliding friction with rolling friction, thereby reducing friction losses, improving efficiency and extending service life. It is a kind of precise mechanical component.

Rolling bearings are generally composed of four parts: inner ring, outer ring, rolling elements and cage.

· Inner ring: Fits closely with the shaft and rotates along with it.

· Outer ring: It cooperates with the bearing housing to provide support.

· Rolling elements: The inner raceway rolling between the inner and outer rings can be needle rollers, rollers or balls, and their shapes and quantities vary according to different application requirements.

· Cage: Evenly separates the rolling elements to prevent friction from guiding their rotation and serves as a lubricant.

When an external force acts on a bearing, the rolling elements roll on the raceways of the inner and outer rings, generating rolling friction and rolling resistance. Compared with sliding bearings, rolling bearings have a smaller coefficient of friction and inertia, and can provide higher rotational speeds and greater load-bearing capacity.
